Imagine the chances
Rich, Jayda and I go out to eat while Mal and Brad stay at the Hotel with Jack.
Rich and I are standing on the street while Jayda is looking at the menu in the window of a restaurant. Rich is facing me, but looking past at the people walking by.
A look of disbelief comes across his face. He points, opening his mouth in exaggerated shock.
This can happen in Prague, the tourist capital of the world, everyone visits, and you can run into people you know from across the world.
I turn around to see two dudes walking down the sidewalk. I don't know them. But one is wearing a familiar sweater.
I look back at Richard and he is looking at the guy in the sweater.
He looks abruptly down at his own sweater, and then back up at the the guy, his face disbelieving somehow asking the guy to join him in acknowledging the amazing coincidence of these two men, with similar sweaters, running into each other in this vast world.
It is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
We look at several restaurants. Some I veto, because I feel they are too expensive. Rich comments that compared to prices in Denmark, they are dirt cheap. He feels he doesn't have to worry about money in Prague. "This is what it must feel like to be rich."
We find a great restaurant in Namesti Miru. But I forget the name of it. We go back with Rich, Mal, and Brad the next day. I will go to this restaurant several more times when I am in Prague. I really should have remembered the name.
