Mark II

My personality splits. I now live two completely separate lives. Half the time I am Mark. The other half of my life, I live as... well, as Mark.

Both of my personalities have the same name. At least that part of it is convenient. I like to think of them as Mark I, and Mark II.

As Mark I, I am a mild-mannered post-doctoral math researcher who is concerned about his carbon-footprint, while as Mark II, I am a mild-mannered post-doctoral math researcher who is ambivalent about his carbon-footprint.

Basically, my two personalities are the same. Except for the level of commitment to environmental concerns. I understand that this seems to defeat the purpose of having two personalities, but it does have its uses. While I am living as Mark I, Mark II gets to rest. And vice versa. Each of my personalities gets to sit back for half of their waking lives and just watch.

It's really quite relaxing.
