My wife is doing something in the main room while I am in the bedroom.
"Mark, where is the ????? that was on the air conditioner?"
"The what?"
"The air conditioner."
This is how Koreans always respond when you didn't catch part of their sentence. They always just repeat the part you understood.
"Where is the what?" I ask.
"On the air conditioner."
"What was on the air conditioner?"
"Never mind." she says, then continues to my daughter, "He's not going to know where it is if he doesn't know what it is."
Actually, its better that she gave up on it. From Lisa's response, I hear that it was rattan. They have been making rattan baskets and leaving bits of it all over the house for months. I threw that shit out weeks ago.
