Empty seat

Prague Conversational

There are only two empty seats on the tram- the one beside me and the one beside the man in front of me. An old lady gets on. As she goes to sit beside me, she glances at me. She changes her mind, and moves up to the seat in front.

Me: Hey! (with a finger poke at her head.)
Lady: What?
Me: I don't care. I was saving this seat for someone better anyways.
Lady: Yeah, I could tell.
