I pretty pissed off at my Algebra class right now.

Today I was doing Fermat's Little Theorem and Euler's Theorem. As I go to write up Fermat's Little Theorem, I write it simply as:

Theorem (Fermat)
For any prime p ....

but I write it tiny.

I was hoping someone would say, "Hey! Why's it so small?" Or "I can't see it, could you write it bigger?"

Then I would get peals of laughter when I said: "It's Fermat's Little Theorem."

But nobody obliged me. They just sat there silent, their eagle eyes apparently having no problem with the tiny script.

I balked for a second. Then went on writing, waiting for some dull eyed student in the back to finally look up and notice they couldn't read my writing.

But no one did. And if you ask me, that is a pile of bullshit!

Bullshit that they can see it, and bullshit that they are leaving it to me to bring of the subject of the tiny writing. They are selfish!

"You can see that?!?!" I ask, assaulting their silence. "This tiny writing is fine for all of you?"

Silence.

"Fine!" I yell. I'll just write it all like that.

And I did. I did the rest of the lecture on just one board.
