A fortune teller room had been built into the convenience store by my house.  I've never seen a customer there and wonder how well tarot cards work for business plans.

Feeling sorry for the little guy sitting in the window, I go in to have my future read.

He deals out the cards, and the first one is very clearly the Death card.

"What does that mean?" I ask, a bit concerned.

"Someone important will pass."

"Who?"

"Hmm," he says.  "I cannot see that."

"Shouldn't you do some more cards then?"

He puts his hands flat on the table, and wrinkles his brow.

"Many people prefer not to know."

"It isn't me is it?" I ask.

He looks up at the ceiling.  After a couple seconds he asks, "What's your name?"

"Mark." I say.

He looks relieved.  "No, the one that dies is an L.R."

I think.  I don't know many Rs.  Ross? Rodl? R.. Rrrr....   Richard?     Little Richard?  He's already dead. I'm not sure that he would be 'important' to me anyways.  R...

"Do you have anything else? Is it a he or a she? Are they old?"

"He's old. It's coming to me.   L. Roy"

"What? Logan Roy, from Succession?"

I haven't started watching the latest season.  I like to watch it all in one go.  I know there have been spoilers out, but the people on the podcasts I listen to are careful about this, and living in Korea, it has been pretty easy to avoid the spoilers.

"Bingo!" he says.

"Why would you..."

"You wanted to know. And Tommy Shelby dies in the last season of Peaky Blinders."

That one's on me. Its been out over a year.

"And Robert Baratheon dies in Game of Thrones."

"Yeah," I say.  "That's like 10 years old. I know that."

"I thought maybe you forgot, it's hard to keep all the characters straight."

"So is that all you do? Spoilers?" I ask.

"I also give advice on business plans." he says.
