Plans for a crossover episode of the critically acclaimed "Frasier" reboot with the perennially underrated "life in Daegu" blog have been scrapped after "Frasier" was not renewed for a third season.

It was unclear how to crossover a network television show with the largely ignored ramblings of an working mathematician, but players from both camps were optimistic about it.

"The writers have several great ideas about how Frasier could come across the blog," responded Frasier star and producer Kelsey Grammer, when asked about plans for the crossover.

"They still got that dog, right?" answered blog writer, Mark Siggers, to the same question. "Eddie, I think it was."

However, after the recent release of the news that "Frasier" would not be renewed for another season, show executives responded to our inquiries about plans for the crossover in no uncertain terms: "How the hell can we make a crossover if we are no longer making a show?"

Asked about the cancellation Siggers seemed belligerent: "It probably got cancelled because of all your damn questions! You think you're so damn clever with your questions and your rumour-mongering, but you never ask the important questions. You never ask who your questions are going to hurt! They hurt Eddie, that's who! And I have a sore back!" he continued, "I didn't sleep right..."
