We finish reading some Disney book, and Lucy is looking at the other books advertised in the back. We have seen most of the movies, but not Hercules. “What is this one?” she asks.
“It’s Hercules.” I say. “It’s about a strong guy who fights monsters and saves people.”
She looks at it for a while. “He looks strong.” she says.
“He is.”
“Up here,” she says. “He has weak legs.”
“I guess so.” I concede.
“I don’t think his little legs can hold up those strong arms.”
“You might be right.”
“I bet when he goes to fight monsters, he has to pull himself along like this. ‘Uuuk, uuk, uuuuuuk’.” She mimics a soldier crawling, pulling herself along the ground with just her arms.
I laugh. “Probably, yeah.”
“Then he has to climb up the monster like this. And then get it in a Full Nelson.” She mimics it all.
I am laughing out loud. “And he is so light, that he just swings around the monster like this.” I try.
“Anyways.” she says. I’ve killed the riff. “I would like to see this movie.”
