God comes by and asks me to feed his cat while he goes to Majorca for a week on vacation.
"Sure, no problem." I say, "but why do you need a vacation?"
"Touché , Mark." he laughs, "I rest every Sunday. Could you feed my cat while I go away to get some sun?"
"Of course. But if you want sun, why don't you just make it sunny here?"
"Ha. You're all up in my business today, eh?" he jabs. "I set the weather patterns on the fifth day, and it was some messy stuff. I try not to tinker too much with them. I don't want to have to go through that process again."
"Fair enough." I say. "So once a day, twice a day?"
"I've left the food on the counter, just give him a can in the morning, and change the water."
"Got it."
"You won't need the key. Just knock, and he'll let you in."
"Sure. Enjoy your trip."
God waves, gives me a big wink, and vanishes.
