I go to the bank to to buy some Japanese yen for my upcoming trip to Okinawa. I ask for 60,000 yen. The teller asks me how I would like it. "With a smile, please." I say.
"What denominations would you like it in?"
"Ten '6000's."
The teller growls at me.
"Sorry." I say. "I'm not from around here."
"How about ten '5000's and ten '1000's?" she suggests.
"Perfect!"
She counts it out, interspersing the different denominations, and hands it to me.
"Thank-you," I say. "Now how about that smile?"
