I go to Costco every week or two for bagels.
My wife doesn't like going, but when she wants something, like Tabasco sauce or avocado oil, she just asks me to get it for her.
Sometimes she wants something, and she asks me if Costco has it.
"I don't know, they might, I'll check."
Whatever it is she wants, she inevitably says, "Get an organic, free-trade, grade A, locally sourced, hypo-allergenic, Kosher one, without excess packaging. "
The ideal product not only won't be at Costco, it will not even exist. She has made this all up. I always answer, "I'll get the one brand that they have."
When I go to Costco, I take a picture of whatever it was she wanted it, and send the picture to her to see if it will do.
We are walking home from somewhere with Lisa. Eunjoo mentions that she needs new underwear. Remembering that she got her underwear at Costco once before, I offer to pick some up the next time I go.
"I'll just send you a picture..." I realize what that would entail. "Sorry, I can't go taking pictures of Lady's underwear in Costco. You will have to go yourself."
"I'll just find some online," she says, laughing. "Though, I would love to think that students see you in Costco trying to sneak pictures of the underwear on your phone."
